King's Day 2026 | Event Control Center

For Event Control Center, King’s Day began with what we love doing most: preparing, fine-tuning, and working together. Long days, short nights, constantly adapting—all to make sure everything goes smoothly on the day itself.

Dokkum was anything but a run-of-the-mill event. National news coverage, maximum security, and every detail meticulously orchestrated. It was precisely within that dynamic that we were able to do our work. Behind the scenes, out of sight, but crucial to the whole. And exactly as it should be: everything ran smoothly, without a hitch.

A special milestone: the first deployment of the new FE Telecom extendable trailer, specially equipped for the police. Fully equipped with our Showcases —a powerful collaboration between GIGTECH, Crowd Care, and FE Telecom.

In addition, Event Control Center provided the Municipal Action Center (GAC) for Vinke Vision and the municipality of Noardeast-Fryslân. It was an impressive setup featuring CCTV cameras throughout Dokkum, video walls, display screens, and a network of connections that brought everything together.

This applies not only to the day itself, but also to the days leading up to the King’s Day celebrations.
