Pentecost is all about connection—even behind the scenes

As the Event Control Center, we had the privilege of contributing to the 56th Opwekking Pentecost Conference in Biddinghuizen on behalf of the Opwekking Foundation —an impressive event that brings together tens of thousands of campers and day visitors each year for a weekend filled with worship, spiritual growth, and fellowship.

In this dynamic environment, where safety and visibility are crucial, we implemented a robust and integrated system.

With no fewer than 24 showcases, an impressive video wall consisting of 12 LED screens, a customized status traffic light, and an extensive network of CCTV cameras, we consolidated all the information into a single, clear overview. By integrating with the organization’s two-way radio and incident management systems, all involved partners were able to collaborate in real time and respond quickly.

The crisis room was also equipped with a Showcase, ensuring that in the event of an incident, all relevant data sources and CCTV footage were immediately available to enable an appropriate response.

A large and technically challenging project, but that’s exactly what makes it so rewarding. It’s especially meaningful to work for a client who places such a high priority on safety and connection.
